- Gratis visa available for SAARC citizens under conditions
Almost every visitor to Nepal can pick up a tourist visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or at land borders such as Birgunj, Sunauli and Kakarbhitta. Our team sends you the checklist in advance so the airport queue is quick.
Fill in the arrival form online before you fly if you can, then bring a recent passport photo and the fee in US dollars. The tourist visa comes in 15, 30 and 90 day versions, all multi-entry, and it can be extended inside Nepal if your plans grow.
Travelling with children, or continuing to a trekking permit region? Tell our team when you plan with us and we will confirm exactly what applies to your dates, because rules and fees are updated by the Department of Immigration from time to time.
