FAQ

Questions travellers ask

How fit do I need to be?

You should be able to walk five to six hours with a day pack on consecutive days. Training with hill walks, stairs and cardio for eight to twelve weeks makes a real difference. Altitude, not technical difficulty, is the main challenge.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Your policy must cover trekking to 4,500 m, emergency helicopter evacuation and medical repatriation. We ask for the policy details before departure.

Can I have a private room?

Tea houses have limited private rooms. A single supplement is available on request and subject to availability; on busy sections, twin-share may be the only option.

What happens if the weather changes?

The itinerary includes a buffer day and your guide will adjust the plan if conditions require it. We prioritise safety over reaching a fixed schedule.
